Debunking the Life Coaching Myths

Life Coaching is a profession that is different from consulting, mentoring, advice, therapy, or counseling. The coaching process addresses specific personal projects, business successes, general conditions, and transitions in your personal life, relationships, or profession. Together we examine what is going on right now, discovering what your obstacles or challenges might be, and choosing a course of action to make your life be what you want it to be based on your dreams and goals.

Top Three Myths: DEBUNKED

  1. Coaches Have the Answers!

Signing Up for coaching is a great way to proactively find ways to fulfill your mission. No one has the right answer except you. Coaching provides a structured environment that safely focuses on your desires, needs, and transitions to maximize your potential. For all of us, the answers are in our brains, and life coaching lets us follow a path to discover those answers.

  1. Coaching is Expensive

Changing your life is a choice, like eating healthy. Our society places a higher price tag on being the best we can be. Coaching is a self-care choice but not expensive in terms of what we spend on other life choices. If you add all your monthly subscription services to entertain, feed, and ship things, the overall cost to be coached is reasonable. It is an investment in yourself that pays dividends throughout life not just today.

  1. Coaching is only for people who have problems or who can’t succeed on their own.

We humans have emotions, life experiences, and stories in our lives. These emotions, life experiences, and stories shape our gut-level reactions to situations and long-term goals. Our brains hold the key to finding the path that creates the best balance in our day-to-day lives. The image of perfect does not exist. How you want to succeed in your own life is what you can control. Humans have ups and downs and life challenges, but letting go of the stories is the best way to move to the life that makes you feel fulfilled.

“What you seek is seeking you.”
